Dakota Valley Growers
Bion executed a Letter of Intent with Dakota Valley Growers to develop a sustainable beef project. Their northern location positions them to gain much from moving cattle indoors and Bion’s verified clean water benefits will provide protections for the Red River Valley. However, due to current market and finance conditions and our commitment to develop Stovall Ranch, we do not have plans to develop the project at this time.
Dakota Valley Growers is a 6th generation family owned and operated farming and cattle feeding operation located in the Red River Valley in northeast North Dakota, near Bathgate. The farm was established in 1879; the Edgar family now farms 4,200 acres to produce corn, alfalfa, grass hay, beans, and barley. They have produced and fed cattle for 20 years.
